The New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies will meet in this year's World Series, just as our poll predicted. When asked who would win this year's World Series, the readers of this blog voted 56% in favour of the NY Yankees and 32% for the Phillies. The L.A. Dodgers received 12% of the vote and nobody voted for the Angels. The World Series starts on Wednesday night in New York and personally i hope that it goes seven games and that the games continue to be as good as they have been so far this autumn.
The Royals will be back to work on November 2nd as they start their winter training program that will have them at the facility 3 times per week.
The preparation for the Royals annual gala is also underway and it is lead this year by Mr. Stephen Largy. The event will be held on Friday February 26, 2010 in Oakville.
