KYLE WESTWATER HITS HOME RUN IN 4-2 LOSS TO KIRKWOOD C.C.

Kyle Westwater hit the Royals first home run of the fall trip to go along with two walks and two runs scored as the Royals lost a close game to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kaleb Leff also had a very good game with two singles and an rbi. The Royals other hit was a single by Daniel Campos.
Taking the mound for the Royals this afternoon and doing a very good job allowing only two earned runs were Alex Mann, who pitched four innings and Joe Browne and Graham McCarrel who pitched one inning each.
In the second game of the afternoon the Kirkwood CC Eagles proved to be too strong for the younger Royals winning 16-2. The 17U Royals had  singles by Levi Larmour, Greg Hewitt, Adam Hoover and Partrick Pinlac.
The pitching was handled by Adam Parshad (2 innings); Dennis McLeod (1 2/3 innings) and Mitchell Kay (1/3 inning).
Tomorrow the Royals travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa to play Iowa Central C.C.
